Getting Online

The AILC launched its first online webinar in June. It was always in the plan for the AILC to introduce online courses but with the impact of COVID we moved online faster than we initially intended. The great part is that everyone is on the same online journey as we are which has made the transition a lot smoother. There’s the silver lining.

The first online webinar was held at the beginning of June and facilitated by one of our Lead Trainer’s Timmy Duggan from Darwin. The feedback from participants was positive and we are currently running our second online webinar.

Loved meeting new people and learning about different leadership styles and potentially where my style fits in based on my personality. Overall, I think the introduction course is a good way to decide if further study or longer form courses are right for you.

We put a call out for Expressions of Interest (EOI’s) over the past few months for our accredited courses - Introduction to Indigenous Leadership Certificate II and IV. After receiving an overwhelming response, we are now in the process of the formal enrolment process. These courses will be run in 4 locations nationally and also online.

We are currently rolling out our Introduction to Indigenous Leadership Youth Program. The programs are running in Darwin, Gold Coast and WA. They will be delivered online as well as face to face. These workshops are designed to support young people build on their leadership capabilities and accelerate their leadership journey. If your organisation is interested in partnering with the AILC to deliver a youth program in your community or you are interested in any of the AILC courses please email [email protected]
