Program Leader

The Australian Indigenous Leadership Centre (AILC) specialises in accredited and non-accredited Indigenous leadership, governance and mentoring training around Australia from remote communities to regional locations.

This role is responsible for coordinating the training support requirements of the organisation, including student support, logistical planning of courses and workshops, general administrative tasks, and student records management. The Program Leader will be required to work in a team-oriented environment and independently as required, all training sessions are adequately planned, resourced and run smoothly.


This role is based in our Canberra office, some interstate travel will be required, as well as some outside normal working hours (while on course). Working from home is available and location can be negotiated for the right person.

About the Role

The Program Leader will work alongside our trainers, facilitators and other program leaders both remotely and face-to-face to coordinate training courses and liaise with students.

This role requires a person with the following skills:
