Prof. Peter Radoll Board Member Peter is an Anaiwan man of Northern NSW and is Professor of Information Technology and Pro Vice Chancellor, Indigenous at the University of Canberra and Director, Ngunnawal Centre. Before taking up tertiary study and an academic career, Peter was a motor mechanic for 11 years. He has Bachelor and Master Degrees in Information Technology from the University of Canberra and a PhD from the Australian National University. His doctoral thesis focused on the factors affecting the adoption of information and communication technologies in remote and urban Australian Indigenous households. Peter has conducted research over many years on a range of matters of importance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, with a particular emphasis on Information and Communication Technology issues and the digital divide. He has over ten years experience in senior management and has led teams in a number of dynamic and challenging environments. Peter is an exceptional communicator with a consultative style, strong negotiation skills and outstanding problem-solving abilities. He is acknowledged for employing clear ideals, standards and integrity to leadership and decision-making. He is a team-oriented leader with the proven ability to produce results and strengthen organisational growth. Peter brings his extensive leadership skills, knowledge and experience to the AILC board.
