Tracy is a descendant of Stella Sandy/Bungaree of the Yugambeh language group in South East QLD. She grew up in the Tweed/Gold Coast community and continues to maintain her close connection to this area with her family. Tracy’s background is in education and she currently works as a consultant in community engagement and as a workshop facilitator. 

Tracy’s experience working in community and mental health ensures she facilitates workshops with understanding, empathy and experience.  Her experience in community engagement gives her the ability to understand complexities within a community and break down barriers to facilitate connection.  Tracy has been delivering Aboriginal Mental Health First Aid for many years, not only in her own community but in remote communities in Queensland, the Northern Territory, NSW and South Australia.

Tracy is a qualified teacher and holds a number of qualifications in adult education, mental health care and counselling.
